This quote shows how many people live in the house with her. I found this quote amusing because this whole section that I read was all about family love. And she said that almost all of her family lived with her, which is common in African homes. I can connect to this because when growing up, I lived with my cousins and grandparents. All the drama and tension that arises in the house happened to me also when I was younger. But at the end of the day we love each other. It is all about the family love.
